When Zero G was aquired recently by Macrovision, I had the good fortune to be invited to the last occurence of what had been annual event for Zero G: sailing out to Angel Island for a picnic.

We all walked down to the pier from the offices near 3rd & Bryant and waited for the sailboat… and waited … and waited. There was some last minute maintenance issue with the sailboat they had to resolve, but we finally boarded about 15 – 20 minutes later.

On board, we were offered some breakfast rolls and pastries, which weren’t anything fancy but still hit the spot. There was also champagne, OJ, and beer. I had a Mimosa, as did a few others. Many of the folks were drinking beer, and it was only about 10:30am… some of them got pretty hammered on the trip over to the island.

It got really windy & a bit chilly, as you can see from the photo below.
